What will happen to Minecraft Java Edition?

We all know that the version that we know and love is Bedrock. This version is getting new features quickly and recently caught up with the edition of the Update Aquatic, but there are still few features that Bedrock is missing. If Bedrock somehow does catch up or goes ahead of Java, what do you think will happen?
