Stone Bricks are Blocks that were added in Alpha 0.4.0 rev 2. Stone Bricks are often used as a building material for castles and modern houses.
Obtaining[]
The main way to obtain Stone Bricks is by crafting them. Before Update 0.13.0, they could only be crafted by using the Stonecutter. They can also be naturally found in Strongholds.
Crafting[]
- 4 Stone => 4 Stone Bricks
- 3 Stone Bricks => 6 Stone Brick Slabs
- 6 Stone Bricks => 4 Stone Brick Stairs
- 1 Stone Brick + 1 Vine => 1 Block of Mossy Stone Bricks
Smelting[]
- 1 Stone Brick + Any Fuel => 1 Block of Cracked Stone Bricks
Usage[]
Stone Bricks are used for Decorational purposes, and as building materials.
Trivia[]
- Stronghold walls are made of Stone Bricks and also the various subtypes of Stone Brick, including Monster Eggs.
- Players used to be able to Craft Stone Bricks with Andesite, Granite, and Diorite.
- Other variants of Stone Bricks are Mossy, Cracked, and Chiseled Stone Bricks.
- Silverfish can go inside all types of Stone Bricks when not attacking the Player, creating Monster Eggs.
- Stone Bricks appeared as normal in Update 0.6.0.
