Spruce Planks are a variant of Blocks added in Update 0.8.0.

Obtaining

Spruce Wood can be obtained by Crafting Spruce Wood from a Crafting Table. After Update 0.14.0, it generates naturally in Witch Huts.

• 6 Spruce Planks => 4 Spruce Stairs
• 3 Spruce Planks => 6 Spruce Slabs
• 4 Spruce Planks => Crafting Table
• 2 Spruce Planks => 4 Sticks
• 3 Spruce Planks + 2 Sticks => 1 Wooden Pickaxe
• 6 Spruce Planks => 3 Spruce Doors
• 6 Spruce Planks => 2 Trapdoors
• 8 Spruce Planks => 1 Chest
• 2 Spruce Planks + 4 Sticks => 1 Spruce Fence Gate
• 4 Spruce Planks + 2 Sticks => 3 Spruce Fences
• 5 Spruce Planks + 1 Wooden Shovel => 1 Spruce Boat
• 3 Spruce Planks + 3 Wool => 1 Bed
• 6 Spruce Planks + 3 Books => Bookshelf

Usage

Spruce Wood can be used to Craft various amounts of Wooden Items, such as Tools.

Trivia

• Before Update 0.8.0, Spruce Logs would merely make Oak Planks.
• Spruce Planks are the darkest type of Wood before Dark Oak Wood.
• After Update 0.10.0, Spruce Planks can be used to build Spurce Fences and Gates.
• Like all Wood, it can be used for Fuel in the Furnace.
