Slimeballs are Items that were added in Update 0.12.1.
Obtaining[]
They can be obtained by killing Slimes as of Update 0.12.1. Before Update 0.12.1, Slimeballs were coded into Minecraft, but could only be obtained through Inventory editors. As of Update 1.10.0, they can also be traded with Wandering Traders with 4 emeralds.
Crafting[]
- 9 Slimeballs => 1 Slime Block
- 1 Slime Block => 9 Slimeballs
- 1 Slimeball + 1 Piston => 1 Sticky Piston
- 1 Slimeball + 1 Blaze Powder => 1 Magma Cream
- 1 Slimeball + 4 String => 2 Leads
Usage[]
Slimeballs can be are used to craft Leads, Magma Cream, Sticky Pistons and Slime Blocks.
Trivia[]
- They cannot be thrown, unlike Snowballs and Eggs.
- Their ability to be Crafted into Sticky Pistons and Leads was added along with those items in Update 0.15.0.
