Obtaining[]

Signs can be obtained through Crafting. They also naturally generate inside the basements of Igloos. The signs in Igloos show arrows pointing to the Villager and Zombie Villager.

6 Wooden Planks + 1 Stick => 3 Signs

Usage[]

Signs can be placed on Blocks with many different orientations, and once placed, can be typed on. The color of the text on the Signs can be changed after Update 0.11.0 by the Player, by using the § on their keyboard. They also can stop Water from flowing, and can create Airlocks underwater.

Trivia[]

After Update 1.9, Signs will be craftable in all wood variants.
In previous versions, text was capitalized every time the Player clicked on the space bar.
Bug: There was a bug in Update 0.8.1 that caused the Player to only be able to type on the first line of text on a Sign.
Bug: As of Update 1.4 the particles that appear when breaking a Sign are for Acacia Wood.
While Signs can stop Water, Lava will destroy them by setting them on Fire.
