Seagrass is an underwater plant Block that was added in Update 1.4.
Obtaining[]
Seagrass can only be obtained by using Shears. The player can also use Bone Meal in Water to obtain Seagrass.
Usage[]
They are mainly used for decoration purposes. Seagrass can be used to breed Turtles and to speed the growing time for baby Turtles.
Trivia[]
- It is the only plant to have an animation when placed.
- The reason it has its animation may be due to the developers wanting to give a sense of water currents.
