Red Sandstone is a Block that was added in Update 0.14.0. It is a red-textured version of Sandstone.

Obtaining

Red Sandstone can be obtained by two different ways. The first is by crafting 4 Red Sand into 1 Red Sandstone. The second is finding it in Mesa Biomes.

Crafting

• 4 Red Sand => 1 Red Sandstone
• 3 Red Sandstone => 6 Red Sandstone Slabs
• 6 Red Sandstone => 4 Red Sandstone Stairs

Note: Chiseled Red Sandstone is made out of Red Sandstone Slabs.

Usage

The main use of Red Sandstone is for decoration.

Trivia

• Unlike Red Sand, Red Sandstone will not fall down if placed without Blocks under it.
• The letters "H" and "C" are beside the carving of The Wither in the Chiseled Red Sandstone.
