Oak Planks are Blocks added in Update 0.1.0. They are the first type of Wooden Planks to be added to the game.

Obtaining

The Player can get them by Crafting them from Oak Wood from Oak Trees. Oak Planks also generate naturally in Abandoned Mineshafts and Villages.

Crafting

• 1 Oak Wood => 4 Oak Planks
• 2 Planks => 4 Sticks
• 4 Planks => 1 Crafting Table
• 1 Stick + 2 Planks => 1 Wooden Sword
• 2 Sticks + 2 Planks => 1 Wooden Hoe
• 2 Sticks + 1 Plank => 1 Wooden Shovel
• 2 Sticks + 3 Planks => 1 Wooden Pickaxe or Wooden Axe (Depending on the arrangement)
• 8 Planks => 1 Chest
• 6 Planks => 3 Oak Doors
• 4 Planks => 2 Trapdoors
• 3 Planks => 4 Bowls
• 4 Planks + 2 Sticks => 3 Fences
• 2 Planks + 4 Sticks => 2 Fence Gates
• 5 Oak Planks + 1 Wooden Shovel => 1 Oak Boat

Usage

Oak Planks are used to Craft many wooden materials.

Trivia

• Before Update 0.8.0, all logs would yield Oak Planks when crafted.
• Like all Wood, it can be used as a Fuel in the Furnace.
