Nether Stars can only be obtained by killing the Wither Boss.
Crafting[]
Usage[]
Nether Stars are used in the Crafting of Beacons. They can also be used as a trophy, acknowledging that you killed the Wither.
Trivia[]
- Nether Stars could be found inside the game's code in Update 0.15.0, however, they could not be obtained in-game.
- Explosions cannot destroy the Nether Star when dropped as an Item.
- This might explain how the Nether Star can survive after the Wither blows up.
