Nether Bricks are Blocks that were added in Update 0.6.0.

Obtaining

Nether Bricks can be obtained by Crafting them in a Crafting Table. They also generate naturally in Nether Fortresses.

Crafting

• 4 Nether Brick Items => 1 Nether Brick Block
• 6 Nether Brick Blocks => 4 Nether Brick Stairs
• 6 Nether Brick Blocks => 3 Nether Brick Fences
• 3 Nether Brick Blocks => 6 Nether Brick Slabs

Usage

Nether Bricks are used in decoration and construction of constructions.

Trivia

• Unlike Netherrack, it will not stay on fire forever.
  • In fact, it only stays on fire like most other blocks, for a few seconds.
• Nether Brick has the same Blast Resistance as Cobblestone, so a Ghast's fireball cannot destroy it.
• Nether Brick's texture was brightened after Update 0.14.2.
