Lily Pads are Blocks added in Update 0.9.0.
Obtaining[]
Lily Pads generate naturally in Swamp Biomes, and can be obtained by simply breaking them. They can also be obtained by Fishing.
Usage[]
Lily Pads are mainly used as Decorations, and can be used to efficiently travel across Water without swimming. They can also be used as a platform for placing other solid Blocks.
Trivia[]
- Lily Pads are the thinnest Block in the game, at 1/64th of a solid Block.
- Before Update 0.11.0, the Player could glitch Lily Pads to float on air or rest on a normal Block.
- Lily Pads are one of the most efficient ways to repeatedly get across Water without swimming, making a tunnel, or building a bridge.
- Lily Pads can only be placed on the top of a Water source Block.
- Lily Pads can be broken by Boats that run into them.
