Iron Bars are decorative Blocks that were added in 0.8.0.
Obtaining[]
Iron Bars are mainly obtained by Crafting but they can be naturally found in Strongholds and Villages.

- 6 Iron Ingots => 16 Iron Bars
Usage[]
Iron Bars are mostly used as a Decoration, while sometimes used to lock Mobs out or in, however, to do so they must be at least 2 blocks high, since they can be jumped over.
Trivia[]
- Iron Bars cannot be connected with any non-solid Blocks.
- They make excellent alternatives to Glass, as they are harder to break.
- Iron Bars stops Water and Lava. Bars can also be used underwater to create a permanent Airlock.
- Iron Bars cannot be destroyed by the Ender Dragon.
- After Update 1.2, single Iron Bars will be in pole like structure instead of + structure
