The Iron Axe is a Tool that was added in Update 0.3.2.

Iron Axes are made with Iron Ingots and Sticks by Crafting them. They can also be obtained by killing Vindicators.

Iron Axes, like the other Axes, are mainly used for chopping Wooden materials.
