Glowstone Dust is an item which was added in Update 0.5.0.
Obtaining[]
Glowstone Dust is obtained by breaking Glowstone with a tool not enchanted with Silk Touch. When broken it yields 2-4 Glowstone Dust, meaning the Player may need 1 or 2 Blocks to craft another.
Glowstone Dust can also be obtained as a Mob Drop by Witches.

- 4 Glowstone Dust => 1 Glowstone
Usage[]
Glowstone Dust has two main uses, Crafting Glowstone blocks, and as an ingredient in Brewing. When used in Brewing, Glowstone Dust makes the Potion effect stronger.

- Glowstone is no longer obtainable in Old Worlds since the Nether has not yet been implemented in those worlds.
- Glowstone Clusters are efficient ways to obtain large amounts of Glowstone Dust.
- Before Update 0.12.1, Glowstone was obtained by using the Nether Reactor.
- Glowstone Dust has an appearance similar to 3 Items; Sugar, Redstone, and Gunpowder.
- Glowstone Dust can be crafted into Glowstone without a Crafting Table.
