Usage[]

Detector Rails emit a Redstone signal when a Minecart passes over them. This makes them useful for activating anything that is redstone-powered. They are often used in traps.

Trivia[]

Detector Rails are often confused with Activator Rails.
If a Minecart with a Chest or a Hopper is on it, the Detector Rail will send a signal strength that shows how full that Container is.
