Update 0.8.0 |
Dead Bushes are Blocks added in Update 0.7.0 through Inventory Editing, and they were officially added in Update 0.8.0.
Obtaining[]
Dead Bushes spawn naturally in Desert and Mesa Biomes. They can also be found in Taigas, growing on Podzol.
The only way to obtain Dead Bushes is to mine them using Shears. Mining them will not decrease the durability of the Shears.
Usage[]
If not mined with Shears, they drop 0-3 Sticks. Since Dead Bushes are most often found in the Desert and Mesa Biomes, this gives them a limited usage as a resource to get Sticks in those biomes which lack Trees in general.
They can also be placed in Flower Pots as Decorations.
Trivia[]
- Before Dead Bushes were added to the game in Update 0.8.0, the only way to obtain them was via Inventory Editor.
- Before Update 0.12.1, Dead Bushes couldn't be mined at all.
- The amount of sticks dropped by Dead Bushes cannot be increased with a Fortune Enchanted Tool.
- Dead Bushes can be placed on Hardened Clay, Coarse Dirt, Sand, and Red Sand.
