Conduits are Blocks added in Update 1.5 that the Player can interact with.

Usage[]

Conduits give the player the “Conduit Effect”, granting better vision and water breathing.

Crafting[]

8 Nautilus Shells + 1 Heart of the Sea = 1 Conduit

Activation[]

Conduits are activated using Prismarine.

To activate one, place a 5x5 ring and place the Conduit in the middle, the player may break the corners of the ring if wanted.

Trivia[]

Conduits work similar to the Beacon.
Conduits are one of the few blocks in Minecraft to be able to deal damage to Mobs. The other blocks are Cacti, Anvils, and Lava.
Bedrock Exclusive: The Conduit does not automatically place a water source block when placed.
