Obtaining

Coarse Dirt can be found in the Mega Taiga, Mesa, and Savannah Biomes. Additionally, Coarse Dirt can obtained through Crafting.

Crafting

• 2 Gravel + 2 Dirt => 4 Coarse Dirt

Usage

Coarse Dirt serves as a variant of regular Dirt, however, it does not grow Grass.

Trivia

• Dirt with a data value of 1 serves the same function as Coarse Dirt.
• It is one of the few blocks, where Dead Bushes can be planted on.
• Coarse Dirt can be tilled with a hoe which turns it into regular dirt.
