Obtaining

It can be found under and near Water. It can also be Crafted.

Crafting

• 4 Clay => 1 Clay Block

Smelting

• 1 Clay Block + Any Fuel => 1 Hardened Clay

Usage

Clay Blocks are mainly used to obtain Clay or Hardened Clay.

Trivia

• Before Update 0.9.0, it was very hard to find.
  • However, after the addition of Infinite Worlds, it became considerably easier to find.
• If broken with a Tool with Silk Touch, it will drop itself rather than the 4 Clay. This has been possible since Update 0.12.1.
• The texture of Clay Blocks look like Sand, except colored blue. They also aren't affected by Gravity, and thus won't fall without a supporting block directly underneath.
• Clay Blocks are easily found in the Water in Swamp Biomes.
