Chiseled Red Sandstone is a Block that was added in Update 0.14.0. It is a variant of Red Sandstone.
Obtaining[]
Very rarely, Chiseled Red Sandstone will generate naturally at the mouths of open Caves in Mesa Biomes. It can be mined with any Pickaxe. It is unknown whether this is a bug or a new feature.

- 2 Red Sandstone Slabs => 1 Chiseled Red Sandstone
- 6 Chiseled Red Sandstone => 4 Red Sandstone Stairs
- 3 Chiseled Red Sandstone => 6 Red Sandstone Slabs
Usage[]
Chiseled Red Sandstone serves as a building and Decorative Block. It can also be used to make Red Sandstone Stairs and Slabs.
Trivia[]
- Red Sand was added in Update 0.9.0, while Chiseled Red Sandstone and other Red Sandstone variants weren't added until Update 0.14.0.
- Chiseled Red Sandstone has a Wither carved on it, whereas Chiseled Sandstone has a Creeper's face carved on it.
- Unlike Chiseled Sandstone, Chiseled Red Sandstone doesn't spawn naturally.
