Bricks are Items which were added in Update 0.3.0.

Obtaining

They are hard to obtain in Survival Mode because of the lack of a good amount of Clay in any known Seed or map, aside from Mesa Biomes and under small ponds, lakes, and oceans. They can only be obtained through Smelting.

Crafting

• 3 Bricks => 1 Flower Pot
• 4 Bricks => 1 Brick Block

Smelting

• 1 Clay + 1 Any Fuel => 1 Brick

Usage

They are used to Craft Flower Pots and Brick Blocks.

Trivia

• Due to the lack of Clay in worlds, Bricks were not a common building material. This changed with Update 0.9.0, with the introduction of Mesa Biomes.
• Bricks were added to the Creative Mode Inventory in Update 0.16.0.
