Brewing is a game mechanic that allows a Player to brew Potions with the help of a Brewing Stand. It was added in Update 0.12.1.
How to Brew[]
Brewing occurs when at least one Water Bottle is placed in one of the three Water Bottle slots in the Brewing Stand and a brewing ingredient is placed in the ingredient slot, with Blaze Powder in the power slot, the result being a potion that gives the Player (or Mob) Status Effects.
Trivia[]
- Before Update 0.12.1, when the Nether wasn't available, there was speculation whether this could be acquired through the Nether Reactor.
- A Potion of Weakness is the only potion that doesn't need an Awkward Potion to brew.
- Bedrock Exclusive: The Player does not need to use Blaze Powder as Fuel.
- This will no longer be the case after Update 1.2.
