Blocks of Coal can be obtained by Crafting them in a Crafting Table.

- 9 Coal => 1 Block of Coal
- 1 Block of Coal => 9 Coal
Usage[]
A Block of Coal can be used as a Fuel source for smelting in a Furnace, or simple storage of Coal. It can smelt 80 Items, even though 9 separate Coal can smelt 72 Items, making it a better long-term Fuel source. It can also be used as a way to store Coal, or as a Decorative Block.
Trivia[]
- A Block of Coal can't be Crafted from Charcoal.
- Blocks of Coal are flammable, meaning they will burn when ignited with Flint and Steel.
- The Block of Coal's old texture looked like a black version of the Redstone Block.
- Blocks of Coal cannot be used to power Beacons.
