Birch Planks are a type of Block added in Update 0.8.0.

Obtaining

Birch Planks can be obtained by Crafting Birch Wood in a Crafting Table.

• 1 Birch Wood => 4 Birch Planks
• 6 Birch Planks => 4 Birch Stairs
• 3 Birch Planks => 6 Birch Slabs
• 4 Birch Planks => 1 Crafting Table
• 2 Birch Planks => 4 Sticks
• 3 Birch Planks + 2 Sticks => 1 Wooden Pickaxe
• 6 Birch Planks => 3 Birch Doors
• 6 Birch Planks => 2 Trapdoors
• 8 Birch Planks => 1 Chest
• 2 Birch Planks + 4 Sticks => 1 Birch Fence Gates
• 4 Birch Planks + 2 Sticks => 3 Birch Fences
• 5 Birch Planks + 1 Wooden Shovel => 1 Birch Boat
• 3 Birch Planks + 3 Wool => 1 Bed

Usage

Birch Planks, like all of the other variants of Wooden Planks, can be used to Craft many useful Items such as Tools.

Trivia

• Before 0.8.0, when crafting Birch Wood into Planks, the Player would receive Oak Planks.
• As of Update 0.10.0, Birch Planks are used in crafting Birch Fences and Birch Fence Gates.
• Like all Wood, it can be used as a Fuel in a Furnace.
• As of Update 0.13.0, the Birch variant of Doors can be Crafted.
