Beetroot Seeds are Items that were added in Update 0.8.0.

Beetroot Seeds can occasionally be found growing in Villages.
Usage[]
Beetroot Seeds can be grown to produce Beetroots by planting them on Farmland. When the Beetroots are dug up, 0-2 Beetroot Seeds will be produced for the Player to continue farming.

- They are the only Seed with a vastly different appearance to the rest of the seeds.
- Beetroot Seeds can be used to breed Chickens.
- Beetroot and Wheat are the only crops found in Villages that do not act as both a Seed and a Food Item.
- Beetroot Seeds could be Hoed from the ground in earlier versions.
- After Update 0.12.1, Beetroot Seeds can only be found in Villages.
- Beetroot seeds were exclusive to Minecraft until 1.9 was released for PC.
