Apples are Food Items that were added in Update 0.4.0.
Obtaining[]
Apples have a 0.5% (1/200) chance of being dropped from Oak Leaves when they decay or are broken. Apples may also be found in Village, Dungeon, or Stronghold Chests.
As of Update 1.0.4, Apples can also be Traded for using Emeralds.

- 8 Gold Ingots + 1 Apple => 1 Golden Apple
Usage[]
Apples can be eaten to restore 4 Hunger Points (
). Alternatively they can be crafted into Golden Apples and Enchanted Golden Apples, which give the Player Status Effects when eaten. They can also be fed to Horses.
Trivia[]
- Some Players prefer to not eat Apples since they would rather use them to make Golden Apples.
- Apples cannot be obtained by Shearing leaves.
- Apples can be considered one of the more rare Food drops, depending on what world the Player is in.
