Episode 1 of 5 - Friday of Punishment (released in Oct. 21, 2016 , Friday)
The storm intensifies...
Christy desperately tries to stand up in the middle of the sand as the storm starts to get stronger. The seawater started to rise up. I... I have to find mom and dad..., she thought as she poorly stands up and starts walking to the main area of the island. A scream fills her ears, then she ponders where that came from then continues walking. She spots a hut her parents made for the whole family, she runs to it but then... she falls unsconcious.
Christy rises up from her bed quickly...
Woah... what on earth just happened? I was on that island... I have no idea what that island was... the hut seemed familiar, though..., she thought as she looks out her window then she sees her brother, Jun, gathering wood. Wow... my brother's doing dad's works now... he really became mature. I should go find dad and ask him, she thought as she walked outside her room and walked down the long corridor and goes downstairs.
The dust of the air felt like every thing is new...
My home smells just like the fresh air of the jungle dad and I went three weeks ago... what a phenomenal aroma, she keeps on thinking about her father's adventures as she bumps on Anna, her mother. "Oh. Hi, mom." She said. Anna, sees her daughter's face sweating, said, "Are you okay? Do you need something?", "No, mom. I'm just gonna ask dad something." Anna, smiled, replied, "Oh. You're father is down on the basement." Christy thanks her mother and continues to the basement.
Down on the basement she sees Wilson, her father, repairing the basement floor...
"Hey, dad. Why are you repairing the basement?" She asked. He answers kindly, "Oh, you know what your little brother does with his little pickaxe. Always messing around the house." She helps him repair the basement. An hour later, the basement is repaired as it looks like it was new, "Thanks, Christy." Christy answers, "You're welcome. Also, why is Jun gathering wood like you always do?"
After a minute or so...
"He's helping me with the heavy work because of our debts..." He said. Christy, looking down, replies, "Can I help him outside? I know he is really tired now so can I help, I woke up at a late time... again." Wilson, surprised, answers, "Okay. It'll make him happy more than I will. So go! Give your brother some rest." Christy nods as she runs upstairs and goes outside.
The wind is as fresh as warm water...
*inhales* A good inhale outside helps me out a lot!, Christy thought as she grabs an axe and goes start chopping off a tree. Jun, her brother, spots her and shouts, "You're helping me?" Christy nods then Jun smiles, "Well, I'm really tired. So can you do the work for me?" She then shouts back, "Anything for my big brother!" Jun happily responds, "Thank you! You're the best sister I ever had!" Jun walks inside the house and goes to his bedroom.
After a while of chopping down trees under the hot sun...
I should go inside now, I gathered more than enough wood for dad, she thought. She starts to walk towards the house, but is then greeted by the town mayor's messenger. "Hello, are you Wilson's daughter? I need to speak with Wilson." Christy calls out Wilson. After a minute or so, he greets the messenger and lets the latter in the house. Wilson asked, "So, uh, what is your message?" The messenger answered, "We kept recieving complaints about debts that came from your family. We know that your family is very wealthy, but, you need to pay the debts the town has been desperate with. The funds of the town has been running low lately and if you don't pay it sooner, the town mayor will have no other choice but throw your whole family to the faraway islands." Anna, shocked, says, "But we are already doing the work the town was giving to us, then the town mayor can do something just like that?" The messenger responds, "Look, the town has already been driven mad by recent crimes caused by criminals because of the lack of funds. As soon as you pay all your family's debts, we will cancel the punishment and your family will continue as an average one."
Minutes passed during the conversation...
Man... the town really wants to get paid. Can they appreciate the work we've been doing for months?, Christy thought. "Well, it's been a delight chatting with you. I should go to the town now to give information to the town mayor. Farewell." The messenger leaves the house and heads towards the town hall. Christy talks to her dad, "Why do they still want to get paid? We are already paying them and our debts are almost gone." Wilson answers, "Christy, there's just too many people that are greedy these days.
Meanwhile in the town hall...
"The family has been saying that they almost fully paid the debts." The messenger said to Oak, the town mayor. Oak calmly said, "They still have a lot to pay, Walt. They have a lot to pay to my family." Walt, the town messenger, says, "Mr. Oak, I know Wilson and his family had hurt you before but have mercy on them. You may regret punishing them in the near future." Oak angrily says, "You don't understand! If you understand my past, you can see why I'm mad at them."
A rain began...
I wonder why the town mayor has a beef on us..., Christy thought as the rain intensifies. She looks outside then her head begins to ache, "Argh, my head!" She finds herself in the island again as the storm starts getting stronger. She sees the hut, then she begins walking towards there. The storm starts to become even stronger and the water flows up faster than it should be. She goes inside the hut, but she sees no one, "Mom? Dad? Jun? Mitch?" She ponders as she hears his little brother's shout, "Christy, help!" Christy runs outside and sees Mitch on the water, "Mitch!" She dives and swims towards Mitch. When she reaches him, he disappeared. Christy looks behind her and sees the water rise, almost reaching the hut. "I have to go there." She swims towards the hut as the storm devastatitingly intensifies.
The End... for now...
