All over the world, different English-speaking countries have different spellings, terms and pronunciations of words. For instance, tom-ay-toe vs. tom-ahhh-toe...pavement vs path vs sidewalk... color vs. colour.
Is there a standardised dialect or countries language for this wiki?
An agreement should probably be reached so that users do not engage in edit wars over tomatoes.
This hasn't caused any serious issues so far, but in general I believe that it is US English which is mostly used. As such, we're using "color" and not "colour", for example. Other examples include "behavior" and "favorable".
I would have thought it would be UK English since More countries use that. The wiki’s I’ve been to usually use that.
I guess an argument can be for the fact that many people are from the US though
