For the last few years the activity of this wiki has been declining, even though some attempts has been made trying to revive it. In essence what I believe we're seeing is that this wiki is now a non-updated subset of the wiki over at https://minecraft.gamepedia.com, which in the same period has increased their information on the bedrock variation of Minecraft.

The golden age of this wiki was back when it was called Minecraft Pocket Edition, and there was no other wiki truly devoted to this particular variant of Minecraft. Since the Update Aquatic and the time when it was renamed to just Minecraft, our wiki fell behind in describing the unique features of Minecraft and thusly allowed for gamepedia to catch up and pass us when it comes to presenting relevant information.

Therefore in honour and respect of those making this wiki what it used to be, we're attempting to close down this wiki (or to merge it into the main wiki of gamepedia). To all those who want to contribute on documenting the great game of Minecraft, we strongly suggest moving over to that platform.

A great thanks to all who have contributed and devoted time to making this wiki what it is, and hopefully you'll understand the want not to slowly let it deteriorate and become a source of misinformation and outdated information on the great game of Minecraft.

Hey everyone, Red here trying to make the next version of "Ban the User Above You", this wiki's most popular forum game. I’m sure you already know how to play along. But if you don't, here's an example for you:

Original Creator: The Deranged Umbreon (KUDOS)

Example:

Starlight45Oreos: Banned because monkeys eat bugs.

BrianGardenHead: Banned because the moon isn’t actually a crescent.

Flugmented: Banned because toads jump.

Basically, you just give some really random and/or ridiculous reason to ban the user above you.

Do keep in mind: cursing and, inappropriate remarks, and comments based on serious things are forbidden. Keep the number of instances of these things as little as possible.

The wiki theme has been outdated for a while, and it's time to change it up. The current theme is just temporary, and since I haven't been on top of things when it comes to latest updates and Minecraft announcements I thought it best to ask the community's opinion on what the new theme should be.

I'm a spanish person and I thinked that the spanish community will want have a this wiki in spanish

So,I play Minecraft Bedrock edition on Nintendo switch. After the update 1.11.1 gets downloaded, most of my world started to crash before entering. Is there any solution for this issue? I play the downloaded version of minecraft. Most of the world are over/just 10MB. Also, my skin doesn't show properly after joining. The skin is purcased/downloaded properly. Dosen't work on Offline too. My friend also has the same issue, so I think this issue is for all switch console.

I hate these so-called "Villages", i loved the older villages where it was just a simple design, the older ones was truely a classic, along with the older villa-gers. Yeah, they also look cool and the Brown coats, White coats, or others, were basic and can fit in with anything! but these ones i can care or less, about... but the new villages you actually ruined... along with the basic quality of Minecraft years ago, pal!

It's incredibly tedious to get multiple items to stack (you have to drop them and pick them up to add them to a stack) and for whatever reason, I can't put slabs on top of each other. Is anyone else having these issues?

Is there a way, and if so, to place a stair block in a certain postion while using thd /fill command? For example, when a use the fill command on stairs, they always face up, and on an incline facing north, is there a way to change both of these presets? Thanks in advance.

So i've been trying to figure out how the data and components work and i've been looking for any info on how it works that i can actually understand for i don't even know how long and i've found nothing so i came here to ask for help.

On 1.7 (could work for other versions), try 1180263350 as the seed. Pros:

-Zombie dungeon near spawn: chests usually contain an Enchanted Apple and a bucket

-Buired Treasure at 1544, 60-ish, -216 (spawn is 1512, 65-70, 20)

-Several more Buired Treasures

-Ice Biome near spawn

-Slime spawning swamp

-Spider dungeon relatively near spawn

-If you build a portal near spawn, the Fortress is somewhat close

That's all I had time for.
